The Road To Victory
August 4th, 2007 - Santa Cruz, CA
A Shau Valley, 1969.
US Fire Support Base has been surrounded and under siege for two months. The NVA is sending more reinforcements & more supply from the main base to the frontline near the FSB, preparing the final assault on the FSB. They call it the “Road to Victory" Campaign. US Recon teams are sent out to monitor the NVA activity.
PAVN Deployment & Objective:

PAVN own the valley and are confident in the field. They are highly trained and have high numbers of soldiers and will wipe out any US personal they see.

Unlimited 3 minutes regeneration.

NVA will form two teams;

Supply team & Security team.

Supply team is responsible for transporting & escorting supply & POW.

Security Team is responsible for sweeping the area; make sure it is safe for the transport team to travel throughout the valley.

Transport Team to sucsessfully transport all materials including the American POW to base camp area and await additional orders.

U.S. Deployment & Objective:

No US forces will be deploying outside the fire base at this point other than few small recon teams are sent to monitor the NVA activity. The Recon teams must enter the hot zone, collect Intel, and then remove themselves from the AO without being killed.

No regeneration in the field, if a recon team is annihilated; they loose all Intel and fail in their mission.

They are in VC country, out-numbered and out-gunned; they shall avoid contact with enemies if possible. It is not necessary for the recon team to capture the emery supply but if captured US POW are found, recon teams shall try to rescue them if possible.

Recon team must gain visual contact with the NVA Supply team, and record these numbers down, and compare with the NVA’s list after returning to US FSB.
