| This is a list of requirements for Operation Junction City. Rules and Guidelines are also listed for the use of the items you will need in the field for the duration of the weekend.. Introduction. Be Advised This is not the Vietnam Themed battle to miss this year. Our goal is not to compete with other events but to provide a more focused and realistic aspect of Mil-Sim in Vietnam battles through an organised, reenactment based, with semi theatrical but accurate characters. For years we have dedicated ourselves to drive others to follow in taking Airsoft Vietnam Mil-Sim battles to the next level -"Living History" Battle Reenactments. You wont be hump'n through the bush to come up against five Star Wars Boba Fett heads dressed as Vietcong. Nor will you be encamped surrounded by modern personal vehicles and camping gear. Battle reencatments do not include the use of modern materials or comforts of home. Unless there is no alternative, modern materials are used but they are desguised or made to look the part, or as close to the time "period" as possible. Please refer to the guidelines provided below for further info. |

| Uniforms and weapons. While uniform requirements are strict, any AEG or gas airsoft weapon is allowed. Uniform requirements Give 90% of the desired impression in themed battles. Your weapon is the other 10%.Ideally the correct weapons of the force impressions period are what were shooting for. We highly encourage and reccommend the use of M16 variants, M14's, M1 carbines and the occassional Thompson (for S.F. Only) and use of AK series AK47, RPD, RPK, and Dragonov rifles. Weapons that are not of the Vietnam era are allowed but need be dressed the part if possible. If you have a weapon not of the era, even the simple application of adhesive woodgrain contact paper can transform the look of a modern or foreign wepon. No scopes, lasers, fore grips, tac lights, and other non period accessories are not allowed on any weapons. We do do not expect anyone to spend the money to acquire another weapon just to attend our battle. We would rather have seriously motivated attendees that look the part than to not have them at all, especially if their weapon is the only non period piece.. High-cap mags are allowed. However, giant box or drum mags are not permitted except for use Stoner Machine Guns, M60's, And RPD or RPK model AK's Uniform Impressions need to look the part at the very least. "At a Glance" is considered the very least. Teams fighting together in their prospective squads are asked to acheive the most uniform look to their unit as possible. Load bearing equipment, pouches and packs need to look period GI or Communist, again, at the very least. No modern tac gear will be permitted. Ghillie suits are not permitted. Recommended camoflaging materials include WWII or Vietnam camo parachute material and indiginous plant life. Again, At all times of attendance everyone is required to wear their uniform impression, no modern personal clothing.
