The Road To Victory.

A Shau Valley, 1969.
US Fire Support Base has been surrounded and under siege for two months. The NVA is sending more reinforcements & more supply from the main base to the frontline near the FSB, preparing the final assault on the FSB. They call it the “Road to Victory" Campaign. US Recon teams are sent out to monitor the NVA activity.

The first Major Helicopter and Parachute Assault since the Korean War.
Operation: Junction City.
II corps / War Zone C (Bordering Cambodia)
The 1st Inf Div, 25th Inf Div, 173rd Abn Div, and 11th ACR -
Tasked to search out and destroy the Central Office South Vietnam (COSVN) / Viet Cong Headquarters, engage and destroy the 9th VC Div & 101st NVA Reg, and the interdiction of communist supply and infiltration routes along the Cambodian border.
Operation HASTINGS.                
Saturday April 14th 2007.
Op Hastings was a Single Day warm up Battle for the coming Op Junction City, hosted in the Santa Cruz Mountians.
July, 1966. 
U.S. Marine and ARVN forces strike through the Demilitarized Zone.

The goal of the operation was to thwart the North Vietnamese 324 B Division's efforts to take control of Quang Tri Province. The mission is strategic, engage &  drive off the NVA's 324 B Division and prevent further infiltration into northern I corps. The brushy hill country and tangled jungles in the mountains bordering the eastern DMZ was unexplored territory for American Infantry forces.
Operation RIPCORD.
April  2006
Location Madera County CA.
East of the A Shau Valley,  FSB Ripcord's efforts routinely disrupted NVA supply and reinforcement routes down the Ho Chi Minh Trail. From March 12th to July 23rd 1970 the NVA attacked Ripcord. For over four months the 101st abn held their ground.. The NVA units brought eight infantry battalions, four artillery battalions, four 120mm mortar companies, one anti-aircraft battalion, and one sapper battalion to bear in the seige against Ripcord. NVA RPG, mortar, recoilless rifle, and small arms fire from well prepared and fortified fighting positions were met by Ripcords supporting 105mm, 155mm artillery, mortar crews, infantry units, huey gunships, Cobra attack helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft strikes. Both The US and Vietnamese Armies fought their objectives valiantly against great odds for their countries, units, buddies, and for their survival.
Operation HAWTHORNE.
April  2005
Location Madera County CA.
June 1966, Dak-to, Kontum Province.
Two Batttalions were airlifted into the the heart of the Central Highlands to relieve ARVN Regional Forces. Vietcong and forces of the 24th NVA Regiment had been mauling ARVN companies forcing them from the area of operations. The two American Battalions persued the Vietcong and NVA savagely. Nearly a month of ferocious battles ensued. By the end of the mission an entire enemy unit had been rendered combat innefective. The 1st Brigade 101 abn. was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation award for Extraordinary heroism throughout Operation Hawthorne
Operation BLACKJACK-31
Location Madera County CA.
April. 2004
5th Special Forces has formed the Mobile Guerrilla Force.
A light infantry company- sized force, Army infantry led by Special Forces scouts and recon elements. Attached together they were capable of conducting guerilla operations in War Zone D surrounded by regiments of enemy forces for periods from thirty to sixty days, and would operate without artillery support or chance of reinforcement. Tactical air strikes were avalible and parachute drops of food, supplies and ammunition resupplied every four days.On 15 December 1966, after completion of Special Forces training the Moblie Guerilla Force is flown to Duc Phong Special Forces camp, eighty miles north of Siagon on thenorthern edge of War Zone D. in preperation of its first mission, Designated BlackJack-31.
